** Join us in celebrating 15 years!
------------------------------------------------------------
Dear [NAME],
Pittsburgh’s Public Source is turning 15 this fall, and to celebrate, we’re launching a campaign next week to raise $15,000 that will keep this critically important work going into the future.
The campaign will kick off on Sept. 15, the International Day of Democracy — a fitting moment to honor the role local journalism plays in keeping our communities informed and our democracy strong. Over the following 15 days, we’ll look back at some of our most impactful reporting over the last decade and a half, the journalists and community members behind it, and look ahead to what’s next for Public Source.
15 days. $15,000. 15 years. It’s an ambitious goal, but reader support has powered our journalism for 15 years, and our community has continually shown up for us. If our journalism has been valuable to you, we hope you’ll consider joining us when the campaign begins on Sept. 15. Or, if you’re feeling inspired, you’re welcome to help us kick things off with a gift now! ([link removed])
We can’t wait to share more with you throughout the campaign!
Sincerely,
Alyia Paulding
