Trump just added to his shortlist for the Supreme Court — and it confirms all of our worst fears.

Not only is the list chock-full of anti-choice ideologues like Senators Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, and Tom Cotton, but it's full of nominees young enough that they could serve on the Court for three or four decades. That’s right: If Trump gets just one more pick on the Court, he will further cement the Radical Right's hold on our judiciary for decades to come.

While we don’t want to think about another vacancy on the Supreme Court, we have to be prepared. Trump has promised to nominate anti-choice extremists who will roll back our rights, and it's a promise he's made good on again and again with the help of Mitch McConnell and his cronies in the Senate. To date, he’s nominated more than 200 federal judges and 2 Supreme Court justices, Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. It’s a truly astonishing number and let’s remember, these are lifetime appointments.
