I just logged off Zoom after participating in the first forum of the general election where voters were able to hear from both candidates directly. I am grateful to the Senior Statesmen of Virginia for hosting the forum and providing my opponent and I the opportunity to share our platforms and perspectives with voters.

I hope those who were watching saw the difference: while Bob Good plays to the politics of division and lies about my views, I'm focused on improving the lives of the people of VA-05 by expanding access to healthcare and increasing economic opportunity for all.

After the forum, I'm more excited than ever to keep sharing our message across the district. The polls show that we're in a strong position to win if we can reach undecided voters.
