Earlier today, our team sat down to discuss our paid communications strategy for the weeks ahead. As you might have read in my earlier email, I asked my team for their thoughts on:

1. Getting a new poll in the field
2. Investing an additional $20k into our immediate TV strategy
3. Building our attack ad response fund by $50k to ensure we can respond quickly to the next hit from national Republican groups.

After I wrote this morning and set a goal of raising $75,000 before tomorrow night, we’ve seen a powerful response from so many friends of the campaign. We’re not quite there yet, but I wanted to express my sincerest gratitude to every person who has supported our campaign efforts to date. Over two hundred people have pitched in today alone, and if we can raise $58,400 more, we’ll reach this goal by tomorrow night.

I know we can do this!
