Friend,
Today, in-person early voting begins in Alabama.
As Americans, voting is among our most fundamental rights and biggest responsibilities we have to one another. The ballots we cast in this election will likely be the most important of our lives – they will determine the future of the COVID-19 pandemic, decide the financial security of tens of millions of unemployed people, and define the moral character of our politics.
But our votes are under threat. Extremists in Washington are doing everything they can to jeopardize the vote, quash national turnout, and maintain their grip on power. In our race too, McConnell and Tuberville are flaunting poorly-designed polls showing Doug behind in an attempt to quell our excitement and decrease turnout. We can’t let them win.
Friend, we’re working hard to inform our communities about safe voting and reach every voter before they start casting their ballots today, but we need your help. Pitch in now >>
Mitch McConnell’s and Tommy Tuberville’s corporate attack networks are funding millions of dollars of TV ads in Alabama distorting Doug’s record. Today, Alabamians will start making their decisions – we have to make sure they don’t cast their ballots based on McConnell’s and Tuberville’s lies.
A record number of Alabamians are expected to vote early or absentee starting today – will you rush a donation and help us reach those voters before they go to the polls?
Thanks for helping us protect the vote, friend. We’re in this together.
–Team Doug
P.S. If you want to cast your ballot early or absentee, you can find information about your local Absentee Election Manager here. Remind your friends, family, and neighbors to look into all voting options and deadlines! Forward this message to 3 people to make sure they know that in-person absentee voting begins today, September 9th.
