Asking someone to place their trust and confidence in you for four years is a pretty big ask.

So I think if you’re going to ask for that kind of trust, you have to do more than win a sign war or ***collect mayoral endorsements***.

You ought to show up.

At their front door.

Sure, I’d enjoy spending this weekend tailgating and watching collage football, like a lot of folks.

But I think looking voters in the eye, shaking their hands, and listening to them is a better place to be.
