Labor Day is our opportunity to celebrate American workers and the contributions they make to this country every day. But beyond the celebration, here in Illinois, we are fighting for workers.

I am proud to have the endorsements of the Illinois AFL-CIO and the Chicago Federation of Labor, some of the largest labor organizations in the state and country.

Labor has always had a place in my administration, and working together, we have doubled down on workplace safety, nearly doubled the minimum wage, guaranteed paid leave for nearly all workers, and enshrined the right to organize in Illinois’ constitution.
