Friend,

This Labor Day, I'm thinking about the people who built this district and rarely get the credit they deserve: the bus operators who get this district to work every morning, the machinists on the shop floor, and the teachers, nurses, and first responders who show up no matter what.

This district runs because working people run it.

So today, while you're grilling with family or taking a well-earned day off, I hope you'll also take some time to celebrate and thank the people who make NJ-09 run.

No matter how you're spending today, I hope it's a good one.
