Happy Labor Day, Friends!

Today, we honor the workers who built Colorado, keep our communities running, and make our state such an incredible place to call home.

For me, this day is also personal.

I grew up in a working-class family in rural Colorado, understanding the value of hard work by watching my family work hard to build a better life.

Those beginnings shaped who I am, and the kind of Attorney General I will be.

I’ve worked to ensure Coloradans never have to choose between earning a day’s pay and making their voices heard at the ballot box. I’ve stood alongside workers on picket lines, and I’m proud to have the support of unions across our state.

As Attorney General, I’ll always stand with working people.

The Labor Movement reminds us that progress happens when everyday people stand together and demand something better.

So today, I hope you get some well-earned time with the people you love—and join me in celebrating generations of workers who have made Colorado what it is.
