Folks, tomorrow you get a day off. Most people don't think much about where it came from.
Nobody handed out the weekend. Or the 40-hour week. Or overtime, or workplace safety rules, or the law that says your kid can't spend their childhood in a factory. Every single one of those exists because working people organized, got called radicals for it, and won anyway.
MAGA has spent years gutting labor protections and eating into wages and calling it "freedom." The people who make the pie should actually get a slice of it. But today, workers are barely getting the crumbs left over.
I'll keep fighting for a fair economy, better wages, and labor protections, but I have to defend my seat in Congress first. Will you chip in $10 to help me keep up the fight? [[link removed]]

Enjoy the day off. Somebody fought like hell so you could have it.
