John – Donald Trump just endorsed my opponent. He even used Middleton’s favorite self-given nickname: “MAGA Mayes”.
This isn’t surprising, but it is telling. National Republicans are afraid of losing their grip on Texas, so they’re pulling out all the stops: last week’s private fundraiser in Houston, a midterm-year convention hosted in Dallas next week, and now an endorsement from Trump himself.
MAGA money is about to flood this race.
Trump and his cronies will do whatever it takes to install their next puppet of corruption to continue Ken Paxton’s legacy and keep the Texas AG’s office under Trump’s thumb.
