Well, this is an appropriately creepy level for 2020, the year that keeps on giving.
The UK Guardian posted an essay written entirely by a robot called GPT-3 to convince us humans that AI is really just here to help. Except the essay says, "I know that I will not be able to avoid destroying humankind."
The AI's assignment with this op-ed was o convince humans they have nothing to fear from the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology. Did GPT-3 convince you that AI is innocuous and not a threat? Let's talk about it in the comments.
