This latest move is right in line with the Trump campaign’s (successful!) playbook — bring in the big guns to rile up the right-wing base and then manage to squeak by at the last second.
It nearly worked in 2016, when Trump barely lost Minnesota but won in states like Wisconsin and Michigan. We’re the one that got away, so he’s laser-focused on flipping us red and making sure we don’t slip through his fingers again.
At Trump’s rally just a few weeks ago, he even said, “If we win Minnesota, it is over.” This is a must-win state for Trump to secure a second term, which is why he’s pulling out all the stops so close to Election Day — and why we’re asking:
