Brittany is a young mom from a working-class family. In other words, the exact opposite of what the rest of Congress looks like.

She started cleaning houses at age 12 to help her family get by. She worked behind the counter at a bagel shop, pushed carts at a grocery store, and waited tables to pay her way through college.

To say she sticks out amongst the Old Boys Club in Washington would be putting it lightly. But we think that’s a good thing.

We don’t need another Congressman who went to some fancy private school or got a million-dollar trust fund on their eighteenth birthday. We need people in Washington who understand what it’s like to budget for back-to-school season and juggle multiple jobs just to keep afloat.

That’s Brittany.

To put it another way? Brittany has had our back in Congress since Day One. Now, we need to have hers.
