Congressman Tom Kean Jr. took over 100 days of sick leave this year, leading him to miss more votes than any other active Representative this Congress, and he still collected a paycheck.
But here's the thing: before he took his leave, he had a twenty-year record of voting for less paid sick leave and against paid family leave for New Jersey's working families.
So, leave is only okay when he needs to take it? Got it.
Tom Kean Jr. is clearly not fit to lead. New Jersey deserves a Representative who can show up and get the job done every time, and someone who won't vote against a benefit they themselves take advantage of.
