This is what corporate money in politics leads to. Last year, at least 88 of the biggest corporations in America paid zero dollars in federal corporate income taxes last year — even while posting healthy pretax profits here in the U.S.
That didn’t happen by accident. It’s the predictable result when politicians cut taxes for big companies and then let the people who profit from those cuts write the rules.
Meanwhile, the same interests pushing for tax giveaways are also the ones pouring money into political campaigns and lobbying for loopholes that benefit them. My GOP opponent, Rob Bresnahan, accepts corporate donations from companies like these and continues to sell out NEPA anytime he can pad his portfolio.
This is how corporate money in politics works: it buys influence, it shapes policy, and it shields profits from public accountability. You can see the consequences clearly — promises about protecting healthcare or restoring fairness rings hollow when the policies coming out of DC tilt toward special interests instead of families.
I’m running for office to change that. I’ll fight to restore transparency, ban corporate PAC donations, and restore public trust by making decisions that are best for our families, not corporations.
If you believe NEPA deserves representation that puts our families first, will you help my campaign keep fighting for accountability and fairness?
