We wanted to share some big news with you:

We’re proud to announce that we’re investing $15 million in the small sliver of key state legislative races to break GOP trifectas and stop the gerrymandering of the future.

Since our launch over 3 years ago, we’ve been laser focused on retaking key state legislatures ahead of 2021 redistricting that will transform our democracy for the next generation. We took back the Virginia General Assembly in 2019, and now, we are all in on retaking key state house chambers across the Sun Belt in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Arizona.

As I told CNN, "Without having a seat at the table next year, we will likely see an unprecedented level of gerrymandering.” With Republicans gearing up to gerrymander dozens of congressional district maps next year in these state houses, these four states "represent the most powerful points of leverage in our democracy."
