It’s Rep. Zoe Lofgren here, and I’m still in shock: Trump is gutting the Endangered Species Act. These animals are at risk of going extinct.

The reason? Because Trump says it has “[stifled] the production of important resources like Oil, Natural Gas, and Timber.” What a sick joke.

Trump is on a mission to scale back any climate and environmental protections so that his billionaire buddies can continue profiting off the degradation of our planet.

As the Ranking Member and top Democrat on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, it’s my job to ensure that fact-based science is at the core of our policy-decision-making, not special interest groups.
