I hope you’re enjoying your Labor Day weekend! After this is when things really kick into high gear for a competitive campaign like ours.

In one month, ballots drop. That means more doors, more calls, more of everything – and less time to reach the voters who haven't made up their mind yet. Every week between now and then counts double.

It also means yard signs. I know they can seem like a small thing next to everything else a campaign does, but they work. A sign in a yard is the quiet reminder that shows up on every commute, every dog walk, every drive to the grocery store.

That matters even more this cycle. Under Prop 50, we've got thousands of new voters in CA-27 who've never had the chance to vote for me before. A lot of them don't know my record yet, and a yard sign is often the first thing with my name on it that they'll actually see.
