Hey folks, it's Mark Kelly.

Seven years ago, I was making a decision about whether I was going to run for the Senate.

I knew it would be a lot of work. A lot of time away from home. A lot of time away from family. I knew it wouldn’t be easy.

But after two years of Donald Trump and a Republican-held Senate doing just about everything he wanted, I knew I couldn’t sit on the sidelines. I had to do something.

So, I ran. And, somehow, we won. And then we had to turn around and run all over again to win a full term after that. But thanks to your support, we won that one, too.

I’m grateful every day that I get to wake up, walk out the door, and defend our people, our democracy, and our Constitution. It’s one of the greatest honors of my life. And I’ve never forgotten that I wouldn’t be here without your help.

I know we’ve been in some tough fights before, but this one is different. With elections coming this November, the stakes are higher than they have ever been. The fate of our democracy hangs in the balance.

After everything that’s already happened, I wish I didn’t have to ask you for more. But that’s what I need to do.
