Friend, just 60 days before the midterm elections, Republicans have placed more than 1.2 million Texas voters on a so-called “suspense list.”

As a voting rights lawyer, this is sickening to me! 

We are witnessing yet another attempt to scare and discourage voting – all because Trump and his Republican rubber stamps are afraid of the momentum Democrats are building in our state.

I, for one, refuse to stand idle and watch these blatant voter suppression attempts. That’s why I’m calling on you to stand with me to defend our most fundamental freedom – the right that gives way to all other rights of ours.
