Something is wrong when a member of Congress treats his office like a trading desk instead of a place to represent families. Let’s go through the facts:

On May 15, 2025, Congressman Rob Bresnahan sold up to $130,000 in stocks tied to health insurers like Centene, Elevance Health, UnitedHealth, and CVS Health. One week later, on May 22, he was the deciding vote for a Republican mega bill that slashed Medicaid funding by nearly $1 trillion. Centene’s stock plunged 40% after the bill was signed into law.

That same May 15, Bresnahan bought Lockheed Martin stock. On June 13, 2025, war with Iran escalated and the U.S. launched strikes on Iran. Those market moves lined up with votes and developments that raise real questions about whose interests he is serving.

In January 2026, a report named 10 rural Pennsylvania hospitals at immediate risk of closure, in part because of the Medicaid cuts he supported. On March 27, Bresnahan dumped up to $250,000 of Pennsylvania hospital bonds just one month after voting for the budget resolution that paved the way for those cuts.

In May 2025 he made 81 trades selling clean energy holdings and buying fossil fuel stocks in moves worth at least $200,000 and as much as $1.45 million. Just ten days later he voted for a bill that helps big oil and hurts clean energy and working families facing higher energy bills.

This is not a one-off pattern. Bresnahan ranks as the second-most active trader this Congress. He has made over 652 trades totaling $8.48 million in volume. The numbers speak for themselves: Bresnahan isn’t in Congress to serve us, he’s serving himself while profiting off of people’s pain.

I ran for public office to clean up a culture of corruption and make government work for real people. Now, I’m running for Congress to bring that same fight to Washington. I support banning Congressional stock trading, I won’t take corporate PAC money, and I will demand accountability and transparency in government.
