Husted, you have a problem.

Jon Husted’s support for Donald Trump is now a liability.

At a campaign event last week, Husted attacked almost everybody – Joe Biden, Barack Obama, me. But Husted NEVER mentioned Donald Trump.

Here’s why: Trump and his agenda have become so unpopular that even his handpicked candidate is trying to distance himself from the president. 

But the truth is, Husted has voted with Trump almost 100% of the time.

Husted voted for Trump’s massive budget bill that slashed health care to help fund tax breaks for the wealthy.

And Husted helped bring data centers to Ohio and handed huge corporations sweetheart tax deals while families watched their electric bills rise. Trump strongly supports data centers, too. Just this week, Trump said communities fighting back against data centers must want to end up “backwards and poor.”

Husted can try to hide his support for Trump on the campaign trail, but he has firmly supported Trump’s agenda since day one. 

I’m running because Ohio deserves a senator who will fight for working families, not Donald Trump and his billionaire friends.

But right now, recent polls show us trailing. And control of the Senate will come down to what happens here in Ohio, so please: Will you chip in $5 now to help us tell the truth about Husted and flip this seat?
