I won’t mince words: Trump's sweeping attack on
voting-by-mail is a five alarm fire for democracy.

Let me explain why this ruling is such a seismic moment:

FIRST, Donald Trump signed a sweeping executive order to assert federal
control over mail-in voting. The order requires the federal government to
create lists of "approved" voters to be sent to the states.

THEN, with just 70 days to go until Election Day, the SIX Trump-aligned
Supreme Court Justices ruled to allow Trump’s SWEEPING ATTACK on mail-in
voting to proceed.

BUT NOW, I’ve filed a supplemental complaint in our lawsuit on behalf of
the DCCC, its sister committees, and Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffries
and Chuck Schumer to BLOCK this outlandish and unconstitutional scheme.

This executive order:

→ FORCES the federal government to create lists of “approved” voters to be
sent to the states,
→ THREATENS to investigate election officials that refuse to comply with
Trump’s move,
→ REQUIRES the United States Postal Service to refuse to carry or deliver
mail-in ballots to voters who are not on the lists sent to USPS.

fire for the bedrock of our very republic. I’m leading the charge to block
this unconstitutional executive order in court, but I’m also calling on
pro-democracy patriots everywhere to chip in $3 to the DCCC
