** Pro-abortion illumination of Belfast City Hall criticised
------------------------------------------------------------
Later this month, Belfast City Hall will be illuminated in what amounts to a public celebration of abortion.
The grotesque spectacle was approved by city councillors, with Sinn Féin and SDLP members at the forefront of the move.
Supporters say the illumination will mark ‘International Safe Abortion Day’, a well-known international pro-abortion commemoration. But there is nothing laudable about using one of Belfast’s most prominent civic buildings to honour an event that promotes the ending of unborn human life.

** Emerging stories that could reshape the debate
------------------------------------------------------------
Join us next Tuesday evening to hear directly from a mother who says the three-day waiting period was the reason her daughter is alive today.
These are real stories, and they cannot be brushed aside simply because they challenge the prevailing narrative.
For too long, the abortion debate has been dominated by spin, carefully managed messaging and the sidelining of voices that don’t fit the pro abortion position.
It is nothing short of a national scandal when powerful, real-life accounts of heartbreak, hope and extraordinary joy are pushed to the margins simply because they challenge the pro- abortion message being promoted.
The positive effect of the three-day wait before an abortion cannot simply be wished away. The figures point to its impact, while the experiences of women bring home what those numbers mean in real life.
Hear one of those women tell her story at next Tuesday’s webinar, and get ready to campaign in September to prevent the bill abolishing the three-day wait from advancing any further in the Dáil!

** Your story could help turn this debate around
------------------------------------------------------------
The debate on removing the 3-day reflection period before abortion is reaching a crucial stage. Those pushing for its removal only want one viewpoint represented. This has got to change.
If you or someone you know is grateful for the time to reflect before choosing life, or has experienced abortion regret, your voice deserves to be heard.
Your experience could help shape this important discussion. Whether you wish to speak publicly or privately (with anonymity assured), we will support you and respect your wellbeing throughout.
If you feel comfortable sharing your experience, or would simply like to learn more, please send us a message. All conversations and correspondence will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

** Radical abortion activist Gloria Steinem dies in New York
------------------------------------------------------------
Radical abortion activist Gloria Steinem passed away on Wednesday, according to a statement issued yesterday by her representatives.
Steinem, who was 92, helped define the modern women’s movement and spent decades campaigning for unrestricted abortion. She was a regular guest on the major US television networks, where she strongly promoted abortion.
She was also involved in numerous legal challenges and helped generate extensive coverage in high-end magazines and major media outlets, all with a view to furthering the pro-abortion agenda.
Her own abortion became a defining part of the story she told about her life. In 2013, then-US president Barack Obama awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
