We’re in the home stretch of this race – and my MAGA extremist opponent Dan Cox wants to be the Trump of Annapolis. If elected, he’ll undoubtedly rip away health care, jack up costs, kill Maryland jobs, traffic in conspiracy theories, and endanger public safety. At a time when Donald Trump is attacking our state every day, Marylanders need a leader who will fight for them – not a Donald Trump clone.

Team, I have a message for Cox and extremists across the country who want to enact Trump’s disastrous, cost-raising agenda: Not on my watch, not here in Maryland – and not anywhere with a Democratic governor.

There are 36 governors’ races on the ballot this November – meaning 80% of Americans will cast a vote for their next governor – and it’s never been more important to elect Dem govs who will stand up to Trump and his cronies than it is right now.

Here’s the thing: Cox may have the Republican establishment, Trump's megadonors, and all the dark money special interests lined up behind him to try to undo everything we’ve done together – but I have you.
