The Senate is back in session today and we have a long, urgent to-do list.

It’s been more than a month since the $600-a-week enhanced unemployment insurance expired, and it’s been more than 100 days since the House advanced a critical COVID-19 relief package that would provide another round of stimulus checks to families, rental assistance, and hazard pay for essential workers and would extend unemployment insurance and student debt forgiveness.

But here’s the thing: Senate Democrats have tried to pass meaningful relief for Americans for months.

In addition to COVID-19 relief, the House advanced measures that would provide emergency funding for the Postal Service.

All of these measures are stuck on Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s desk. McConnell won’t let us do our jobs.

While McConnell drags his feet, Americans are suffering. Unemployment checks have been slashed and folks are worried about being able to afford their bills, medical expenses, and food.

Americans cannot wait any longer.

Please sign our petition ASAP and tell McConnell to take action and get back to work for the American people.
