The Atlantic published a sickening story last week -- which several other news outlets have since confirmed -- about Donald Trump's long history of denigrating the service of those in our armed forces. Among the worst revelations: Trump has repeatedly called fallen soldiers "losers" and "suckers."

Donald Trump continues to disgrace our country. This is a man who cannot understand why someone might dedicate their life to the service of others rather than to immense personal profit. A man who stays silent when Russia puts bounties on US soldiers. A man who thinks loyalty to him, not the principles of the Constitution, is what defines patriotism.

Yet Donald Trump is the one that Dana's opponent, Rep. John Katko, chooses to endorse in the 2020 election. And in the five days since Trump's degrading remarks about veterans were published, John Katko has yet to speak out. His continued silence on Trump's words is offensive, unacceptable, and indefensible.

NY-24 deserves a leader with the moral and political courage to speak out. John Katko stays silent when Donald Trump attacks our democracy and now he’s silent as our narcissistic and cruel president denigrates our service members.

There is no excuse. John Katko needs to go -- so we're asking you to support our campaign to defeat him and give the people of central and western New York real representation.
