Missouri River Outdoor Expo honors America 250th

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with us Sept. 19-20, during the Midwest's largest outdoor expo.

The Missouri River Outdoor Expo will feature Voices of Nebraska, eight Nebraska Humanities speakers highlighting the state's unique history. Catch them from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.

Outdoor activities include wildlife encounters, fishing, kayaking, archery, and more, plus competitions for barbecuing and duck calling.

Come visit us at the Nebraska State Fair, now through Labor Day! See our giant aquarium, engage in some friendly competition at the archery and air gun ranges, and play on the outdoors sky fort.

Wetland water conditions better than last year

With early teal season about to begin, you may be curious how wetland conditions are looking. The answer? Better than last year, but still variable across the state.

We recommend doing some scouting ahead of the teal season opener to prepare. We are also planning for some wetland pumping or surface water delivery.
