Hi friend,

My name is Lucy McBath, and I represent Georgia's 6th Congressional District. I never imagined I'd run for office, but in November 2012, my son Jordan was shot and killed.

I saw Washington's refusal to act and lack of compassion, and I knew I needed to do something. I turned my pain into purpose, ran for office and flipped a Republican stronghold blue.

We have another opportunity to make history by electing my friend, Reverend Raphael Warnock, to the U.S. Senate this November. If elected, he would be Georgia's first Black senator. In the Senate, he will stand with me in the fight for access to affordable health care, voting rights and work to end senseless gun violence that rips apart our communities. I am proud to endorse him to fight for the change we need in Washington.

Friend, will you chip in $5 or more now to help Raphael Warnock flip this seat blue and power my reelection campaign to victory? Only with your critical grassroots support can Democrats win in Georgia.

With less than 60 days to go until the election, polls show Raphael running neck and neck with his Republican opponent - and Mitch McConnell and the GOP are flooding this race with millions of dollars to keep Georgia's Senate seat red. Raphael urgently needs our help to fight back.

Georgia is changing. Republicans are vulnerable, and our people-powered movement is on the verge of winning. If you stand with us today, we can flip this seat blue and end Mitch McConnell's majority.

Please, friend, I'm personally asking: Will you split a critical donation between Raphael's campaign and mine so we can win our battleground races, take back the Senate and protect our Democratic majority in the House?

One last thing before I go: When I was a little girl, I was in a stroller at the March on Washington with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and for the past 14 years, Reverend Warnock has had the honor of preaching at his pulpit. We share a commitment to compassionate activism - it reminds me of the power that we can have as Black leaders to move our country forward.

I hope to welcome Raphael in Congress with me so we can make the change our country so desperately needs.

All my best,

Lucy
Representative, GA-06
