33,627 advocates spoke up for grizzlies. Now, we need to defend the protections for their habitat. Can you join us?: [link removed]

Dear Friend,

Last month, the Trump administration proposed handing over management of the iconic grizzly bear to states hostile to their existence. This would make it easier for Northern Rockies states to relocate or kill grizzlies.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service opened a comment period that closed last month for this proposed rule, and Earthjustice advocates showed up in force.

Over 33,627 Earthjustice advocates urged the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to keep grizzlies protected. Here at Earthjustice, we are ready to defend grizzly bears. If the Trump administration finalizes this lethal proposal, we’ll see them in court. There’s a comment period open until Sept. 21.

The administration also proposed rescinding the Roadless Rule, which has protected our national forests from roadbuilding, logging, and other industrial activities for decades. Repealing the Roadless Rule will destroy irreplaceable habitat for grizzly bears.

Will you speak out to help defend critical protections for grizzly habitat? [link removed]

Thank you for joining us in the fight,
Blaine Miller-McFeeley
Sr. Legislative Representative
