Boysko Bulletin: Voting Starts Soon for Congressional Races and the 3 Constitutional Amendments

Dear Friend,

I hope that you have enjoyed a lovely summer and that all students, educators, and parents are getting back in the swing of the new school year! It’s certainly been a busy summer for me and my team.

This November, we have the midterm elections for all Congressional seats. In the Town of Herndon, we have town council elections. And this year, all Virginia voters will have three Constitutional Amendments for consideration. I ask that you inform yourself with accurate information. I’ve provided ways that you can get involved below.

On the Constitutional Amendments, I will go into more detail further down in the newsletter but to sum it up succinctly, I urge you to vote yes if you agree that we should have:

* Freedom to decide for yourself about reproductive health with the advice and care from your doctor - not politicians;

* Freedom to marry the person you love without government interference;

* Freedom to vote and to be treated as a full-fledged citizen with the same rights and responsibilities as other Virginians after completing your incarceration when you return to the community.
