This month, Hochul banned New York agencies from cooperating with federal immigration enforcement. Asked whether she could stop ICE from partnering with local police, she said, "I just banned it. It is against the law now."

Then she opened the state checkbook. Over $7 million of your money will pay legal bills for more than 1,000 migrants facing removal proceedings. When challenged on it, she posted, "Damn right I did."
