Statehouse News
From the Office of Representative Allison Russo

A Note from Representative Russo

In this month's newsletter, you can learn about my work at the Statehouse, keep up on my legislative agenda, and read an issue spotlight on campaign finance reform.

We are back at the Statehouse for session this month, but the summer break remained busy. My office continued work on constituent problems with unemployment and pandemic assistance claims, general constituent issues, and the introduction of important legislation. I also held several virtual town halls, where various experts joined me to discuss the pressing issues facing Ohio as we continue mitigating the public health and economic impacts of COVID-19. Additionally, I hosted the biweekly Children’s Caucus webinar series, where fellow legislators and invited guests identified opportunities to address the critical needs of Ohio’s children. I encourage you to follow my social media pages for regular updates on events and current Statehouse activities, as well as links to previous virtual events. As a new school year begins and our families and businesses face a September unlike any other, please know that I work for you and always welcome your feedback on the issues most important to you.
