First, four Republican-lite Democrats introduced an amendment in Congress
to condemn socialism and the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Then, two more so-called Democrats stepped out of line and voted with the
majority of Republicans to narrowly approve a rule change to bring this
amendment and other MAGA priorities, like the pro-voter suppression SAVE
Act, to a floor vote.

Now, the amendment passed with 8 Democrats voting for it, and we’re one
step closer to Republicans suppressing the right to vote for millions of
people.

What the actual f*ck are Democrats doing?

Trump and the GOP are attacking the right to vote ahead of the midterms,
and there are Congressmembers with D next to their name voting with them.

Republicans are lobbing ugly racist and Islamophobic attacks at blue
candidates before the general election, and these Democrats are more
worried about condemning progressive policies and candidates who want to
make life better for working people.

Fascism is here, Trump is defying court orders, ICE is still terrorizing
families, our food is increasingly unsafe to eat, people are dying of
measles, and families are struggling to survive the cost of living crisis…
and way too many Democrats would rather criticize the left flank of the
party than do something about any of it.

Justice Democrat, DSA member, and Congresswoman-elect Darializa Avila
Chevalier put it perfectly:

paired with renewed support for the SAVE Act, a dangerous bill that would
require a passport or birth certificate to vote and could strip millions
of Americans, including Black voters and seniors without birth records, of
their right to vote."

Republicans have had no greater partners to enact their destructive agenda
than the corporate Dems who lead the Blue Dogs. Establishment Democrats
and Party leaders have proven time and again: they would rather attack the
bold ideas that their voters overwhelmingly demand than fight fascism and
oligarchy.

[ [link removed] ]We need to clean house until every Diet MAGA Democrat is out of office
and this party reflects the people it’s supposed to represent. Will you
