John,
In July, a small group of influential Senators unanimously approved the EARN IT Act, paving the way for the full Senate to vote on this disastrous bill.1 That’s bad news. We need to turn the tide of this battle, and we need your help to do it. Donate now to help stop the EARN IT Act.

The EARN IT Act won’t help keep kids safe from abuse, or prevent the spread of Child Sexual Abuse Materials online.2 But it will create an unaccountable board of Internet police who set rules, could censor websites, threaten free speech, and break encryption.3 So far, lawmakers in the Senate have been unconvinced. It’s time we change that.
We’re forming a coalition of organizations opposed to this dangerous new law and write an open letter urging the Senate to reject the EARN IT Act. We want to support this effort with a social media blitz, flooding lawmakers’ offices with emails and phone calls demanding free speech and privacy online. We’d like to organize newsworthy stunts to draw attention to this important cause.
We’ve already secured the support of Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR), who appeared on a livestream we recently hosted.4 With your help, we can convince more lawmakers from both parties to join us and push back against this dangerous legislation. These lawmakers need to hear from millions of people just like you and me. That’s going to take time and money. Can you pitch in?
DONATE NOW
If you are unable to donate financially right now, we hope you’ll continue to help us out by sharing our petition with your friends and family, and by contacting your lawmakers to demand they reject the dangerous EARN IT Act.
Thanks for all you do,
Dayton at Fight for the Future
