I have some important news to share: I am officially a back-to-back Iowa State Fair beard champion.

That’s right. For the second year in a row, my beard took home the blue ribbon in the costume division at the Iowa State Fair. (Yes, there is a costume division. Yes, I take this very seriously.)

But as proud as I am of my very niche Iowa State Fair accomplishment, I’m writing to you today for another reason.

I’ve watched Sarah spend the last year doing something much harder than growing a championship beard: building a campaign from the ground up.

She has knocked doors, sat down with Iowans at kitchen tables, listened to teachers and parents, and traveled all across this district to hear directly from the people she wants to represent.

And now, we’re heading into one of the biggest moments of this campaign: Sarah’s final FEC end-of-quarter deadline is at the end of this month.

After that, everyone will be able to see exactly how much this campaign raised, and whether we have the grassroots support to take on all the outside money flooding into this race.

So I’m stepping in today to ask for your help. Will you chip in $5 or $10 to Sarah’s campaign to help us kick-off this month and have the strongest fundraising quarter yet?
