Hi,

Last fall, Donald Trump signed NSPM-7, a presidential directive ordering
federal law enforcement to target left-wing activists as likely domestic
terrorists.^1

Now a group of alleged "antifa" members have been sentenced to a combined
556 years in prison following a protest outside the Prairieland ICE
Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.

Two of those convicted didn't even attend the protest. One got 60 years
just for moving a box of leftist zines.^2

It's Trump's very first successful prosecution under NSPM-7, but it will
not be the last.

Trump is asking Congress for a huge increase in funding for NSPM-7
enforcement, and we're mobilizing tens of thousands of people to demand
that Congress say NO and defund NSPM-7.^3

There's virtually no limit to who could be threatened by NSPM-7, which
defines a sweeping range of common political views as indications of
"domestic terrorism," including "anti-capitalism," "anti-Christianity,"
and "anti-Americanism."^4

Under NSPM-7, simply writing an op-ed or attending a leftist book club
meeting could land you in jail.

Prairieland was the first big NSPM-7 prosecution, but the Trump regime's
next big NSPM-7 case is already underway in Minnesota, where 15 people
have been indicted on anti-terrorism charges after participating in
anti-ICE actions in January of this year.^5

We've already mobilized tens of thousands of people to demand that
Congress defund NSPM-7. With Congress back in session and scheduled to
take up Trump's budget request, we're counting on your help to ramp up the
pressure.
