Why? The decline in stable, middle class households sharing in the fruits of a strong economy has been driven largely by a related decline in private sector unions. 

There has not been a more galling illustration of the growing gap between working people and billionaire profiteers than the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Investors and holders of wealth have made out like bandits, with the stock market rallying and remaining strong despite deaths attributable to COVID approaching north of 200,000. Meanwhile, essential and frontline workers have absolutely borne the brunt while simultaneously preventing panic and economic catastrophe. 

Kathy has centered her campaign around a simple idea: hard work should yield fair compensation, economic security, and personal satisfaction. It’s why we’ve been able to count thousands of hardworking people as supporters of her campaign, and have been endorsed by some of the largest unions in America: AFL-CIO, UFCW, CWA, and UAW.
