A new report reveals that a Texas state agency used millions of dollars
collected through a mandatory $1 fee on car insurance policies to build a
statewide surveillance network of Flock cameras.

You read that right: Texas forced people to bankroll a network of Flock
cameras that can now be used against them. Car insurance should not be
funding a surveillance state.
The same cameras cops use to stalk their ex-girlfriends and wives.
The same cameras cops use to track women seeking abortion care across
state lines.

We don’t know how many other states are already doing this. But if we
don’t stop it now, Texas will become the blueprint.
