I’m Shomari Figures, and I represent Alabama’s 2nd District, which Donald Trump’s Supreme Court just tried to erase from the map. Now I’m facing a new challenge — saving a racially gerrymandered district where Republicans have drawn out Black communities to try to make it harder for me to win.
Look, we can win this race. Democrat Doug Jones won this district when he ran for Senate. But I need all hands on deck to make it happen.
