John, it’s Harry Dunn. Before running for Congress, I served as a U.S. Capitol police officer for 15 years. My life changed forever on January 6th, 2021.
On that fateful day, an angry mob — emboldened by Donald Trump and Andy Biggs, who pushed the Big Lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen — stormed the Capitol. They violently desecrated a sacred place, an institution dedicated to upholding the rule of law, and attempted to destroy democracy.
My fellow officers and I were attacked. Beaten with clubs and baseball bats. Sprayed with WD-40, pepper spray, and bear spray. Called slurs that I'd never been called in my life.
Since then, I’ve spent the last five years committed to protecting our free and fair elections, and defending our democracy from Donald Trump and his dangerous cult of election deniers.
So trust me when I say: we cannot let far-right Republican Andy Biggs anywhere near the governor’s office in Arizona.
Biggs is a sitting member of Congress who has repeatedly put party before country. When Trump pushed misinformation and conspiracy theories that the 2020 election was stolen from him, Biggs got in line and did the same.
The MAGA extremist didn’t stop there — he actually helped plan the so-called ‘Stop the Steal’ events that got out of hand and led to the insurrection.
When it was time for Congress to certify the election results, Biggs betrayed Arizona voters and stood with Trump, becoming one of 147 Republicans who voted to overturn the election on January 6th after the Capitol was attacked.
To this day, he still won’t admit who truly won the 2020 or 2022 elections.
If he defeats Katie on November 3rd, Biggs will become the first election denier to be elected governor of a swing state. We can’t let that happen — ever.
Biggs has Trump’s endorsement and millions of dollars from right-wing billionaire megadonors at his disposal, but Katie has you.
So I need to ask, John: Will you pitch in $5 or more to support Katie right now?
Katie defended our democracy as Arizona Secretary of State in 2020, and she’s spent the last four years delivering for Arizonans as their governor.
Let’s keep her in the fight and make it clear that Arizonans reject the dangerous, divisive agenda of extremists like Biggs.
