Donald Trump is once again using the FCC as his own personal enforcer. And this time he’s threatening NBC’s Kristen Welker after she said his political endorsements had ‘mixed results.’

Friend, this isn’t the first time Trump has demanded the FCC go after media professionals for expressing a point of view he doesn’t like.

In March, Chair of the FCC, Brendan Carr, issued a threat to broadcasters over their coverage of the Iran War after Trump complained on Truth Social.
Use the Justice Department to threaten states into turning over voter data
The following month, Carr went after ABC’s local station licenses after Trump called for Jimmy Kimmel to be fired.
Carr currently has an open investigation into Comcast over what he has called “invidious forms of DEI discrimination.”

And let’s not forget the rude remarks Trump has made towards female journalists:

He called New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman an "unattractive person both inside and out" and a "SCAMMER" over a recent story about his plans for the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
He called Bloomberg's Catherine Lucey "piggy" after she asked a question about convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump has demeaned female reporters at least thirteen times since November 2025.
