Folks,

I have been truly touched by the level of support and enthusiasm Alabamians have shown our campaign over the past few months, so I wanted to take a quick moment to express my gratitude.

Thank you to every single person who has volunteered, contributed, knocked doors, made calls, or helped spread the word. This campaign could not be in the position we are today without you. I am going to work my tail off over the next two months to do you proud.

August was by far our most successful fundraising month of the entire campaign. Tommy Tuberville may have started this election with a huge fundraising advantage, but thanks to tens of thousands of ordinary Alabamians who have come together to demand better, we are catching up.

We are running the most competitive campaign for governor our state has seen in 20 years. We are catching up in fundraising, narrowing the gap in the polls, and have tens of thousands of volunteers getting our message out. The next two months are going to be hard, but by every indication, we have what it takes to win.

So again, thank you. Let’s make Alabama history.
