Dan Crowley enlisted in the US Navy Air Corps in World War II, when he and his unit were captured and forced to do 42 months of brutal manual labor as a prisoner of war. He describes what he lived through as “probably the worst conditions a human being can be put in.”
Dan Crowley is not a sucker or a loser. The men he served with who were prisoners of war with him were not suckers or losers. The servicemembers actively deployed across the world right now are not suckers or losers.
