My name is Tina, and I'm a volunteer with Reproductive Freedom for All.
The news can feel like a constant attack, so last summer, I decided to take action.
I wanted to plan a community event—something exciting and joyful that could energize us for the fight ahead. I worked with my local Michigan team at Reproductive Freedom for All to organize a "Party for Your Rights."

Direct your passion into action by hosting your own event. [[link removed]] My friends with a beautiful backyard in a nearby neighborhood opened their home to us. I made food and created themed drinks, turned a slide deck into a fun team trivia game, and led everyone in a direct action to show how easy it can be to make your voice heard.
The Repro for All team was so supportive, even providing prizes for the games and swag for everyone who attended. Since then, I have hosted a few different kinds of events, including a cozy and quiet meet-up at a local coffee shop and an interactive workshop at a music festival. I am already planning my next one!
