| John – I'm going to be straight with you, because that's the only way I know how to do this. We just won. Two elections in two weeks: the special primary, then the runoff. Grueling doesn't begin to cover it. Every dollar this campaign had went into turning out voters, running ads, and getting our message into every corner of this state. And it worked. But here's the part nobody tells you on election night: winning a runoff doesn't put a single dollar back in our account.
