Submit Your Intentions for Ten Holy Masses, Sept. 6-15

Dear Friend, 

How often do you make the sign of the Cross? Gaze upon our Crucified Lord on the Cross? Kiss a Crucifix? Is it once daily or several times during the day and night? Do you recall that at one time the Cross represented the most shameful and terrifying form of execution?

Last year, Pope Leo said in a homily: “God saved us by showing Himself to us, offering Himself as our companion, teacher, physician, and friend, even to the point of becoming for us the Bread broken in the Eucharist. And to accomplish this work, He made use of one of the cruelest instruments of death ever invented by man: the Cross. This is why we celebrate its ‘exaltation’: for the love with which God, by embracing the Cross for our salvation, transformed it from an instrument of death into a means of life, teaching us that nothing can separate us from Him, and that His love is greater than our sin.”

How important the Cross is today, in this upside-down world – take hold of it, so that you and your family are not swept away from the one, true Catholic Church. 

Christ has triumphed over death. That victory is not for us alone but extended to all who humble themselves and come beneath the Cross to find redemption.

More and more, society disregards that Sundays are holy days in which we worship God, Our Creator and are to thank Jesus at Holy Mass for dying on the cross for our sins.

Remember, as the world spirals downward, out of control, the Cross stands firm! 

Let us bring our personal petitions, for those of the world, to the foot of the Cross, where Our Lady of Sorrows stays close to her Son.

All you have to do is submit your intentions and you will automatically receive all ten days of prayers, beginning on Saturday, September 6th. And please include an intention that God will bestow many graces upon His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, who celebrates his birthday on September 14, as well as our beloved Shepherd, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke.

The 10 Holy Masses include the following:

The Feast Day of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on September 14 (Pope Leo’s Birthday)

The Feast Day of the 7 Sorrows of Our Lady on September 15

We shall stand firm, united in hope beneath the Cross of Christ, throughout our problems, difficulties and challenges in this unpredictable world.
