Maria Fernanda Bello was born and raised in Venezuela, at the age of 17 she fled due to the disastrous dictatorial regimes. While she lived there, Maria would denounce the human rights violations committed by Hugo Chave and Nicholas Maduro. Always being a political activist at heart, she continued her fight as the Coalition Director for Young Americans Against Socialism. 

Emma Jimenez, known famously as "The Conservative Latina," is a freelance political writer, activist, and social media influencer. She is the Director of Communications for Poder Latino, and the Managing Director from Politifix News. Emma also works with Latinos for Trump, and is a Brand Ambassador for Turning Point USA.

Rich Valdes is an Associate Producer, known as "Mr. Call Screener," on the Mark Levin Show. He is also the creator and host of a political podcast that is rapidly climbing up the charts, This is America. Prior to this, Rich worked with Project Veritas and with the former Chris Christie administration.

Virtual Day of Action for Andrew Garbarino

New York State Assemblyman Andrew Garbarino is running to replace Rep. Peter King in a must hold Republican district on Long Island's South Shore. Andrew has worked to protect Long Island’s environment including the Great South Bay, opposed tax hikes, and has been an ardent supporter of police and law enforcement. Endorsement: John Sakelos (AD-26)

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse John-Alexander Sakelos for New York State Assembly, representing the 26th District in Queens.

John-Alexander Sakelos was born and raised in Bayside, New York. From a young age, he learned what it took to run a small business from working in his family’s flower shop. He was fortunate enough to receive an academic and service scholarship allowing him to receive his BFA from the University of Michigan and his MFA from George Washington University. In addition to his work as a union stage actor he has been a professor of humanities at various colleges on the East Coast. This is his first time running for public office.

Endorsement: Dave Franklin For State Senate (SD-7)

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to endorse Dave Franklin for New York State’s 7^th Senate District seat. A Port Washington resident and community leader for the past 33 years, Dave has served as the elected civilian Police Commissioner for the past nine years after a 40-year career as an operations technician at HBO. In addition to organizing food and PPE drives for local residents during the height of COVID-19 earlier this year, Dave is a staunch advocate for reforming the disastrous Bail “Reform” bill passed in 2019, supporting local job growth and stemming the exodus of New Yorkers via better tax policy, and promoting the growth of vocational schools to provide opportunities for young adults beyond the accumulation of debilitating debt in traditional liberal arts programs.
