John, the
first few weeks of this general election are behind us, and I want to stop
for a second to say thanks.
We came out of the primary with our bank account nearly empty. Mike
Rogers, on the other hand, ran unopposed and stockpiled millions of
dollars to go after the Democratic nominee.
In the past few weeks, MAGA Republicans have thrown the whole kitchen sink
at us.
Attack ads are already airing, and since our victory, they’ve increased
their investment in Michigan to a whopping $51 million.
Yet, we're still standing. We’re still in this fight. That's all because
of folks who have stepped up to support our
campaign.
Nine weeks from now, we'll prove that Michigan is not for sale. Not to
corporate PACs, and definitely not to any of Mike Rogers' billionaire
buddies.
And after those nine weeks, we’ll bring our three core priorities to the
Senate floor: getting money out of politics, putting more money in your
pockets, and passing Medicare for All.
